Scout Sunday

On Sunday, March 12 at the 9:15worship service we honored and celebrated the ministry of Scouting.  All scouts, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and Brownies participated.  The scouts  read lessons and prayers, ushered and helped with communion.

Sunday School Christmas Pageant 2016

Christmas Snowflake Craft Fair

Our annual Snowflake Craft Fair was a major success! Thanks to all the craftspeople who spent months making all the beautiful gifts and the volunteers who baked, made soup and helped out with the fair. Check out some photos of the event here.

The Angel Tree Brings Christmas to 23 Local Families

Approximately 300 gifts were purchased and wrapped with care before being distributed to 23 families representing almost 100 children. Mothers and fathers repeatedly expressed their gratitude and appreciation and the delight their children would experience because of the kindness of CLC. Thank you!

Thanksgiving – helping others in need in our neighborhoods

The confirmation class sorted, packed and delivered Thanksgiving boxes to the families in need in our neighborhoods. Atria Assisted Living Craft Day

1st Holy Communion Classes

Any student who is currently enrolled in Sunday School classes is eligible to attend these classes.  Please contact the church office if your son or daughter is interested.  Classes are scheduled to be held in October, with the 1st Communion Celebration on October 30th.

Service on the Sound

Our first “Service on the Sound” was a big success. We ran out of bulletins! Over 80 people attended, including some bystanders on the boardwalk. And we had even more people at our picnic afterwards. Thanks to the hardworking crew that organized this event. Check out some photos here.

Penates Womens Shelter Donations

Our first Paint-n-Pour was a big success. 71 ladies attended and many called to let us know what a great time they had and when we can have another one.  Many thanks to our resident artist, Megan Schiek, and the many volunteers who made this very successful event possible.
